Beat the Pros, Beat the Odds Fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Research

Beat the Pros, Beat the Odds is being held in honor of kids like Iker. Iker was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hepatoblastoma when he was just three years old. After a full year of treatment including chemotherapy and multiple surgeries, Iker is now cancer-free. As his parents said, “You have to go through the storm to get to the sun.” Five-year-old Iker is enjoying the freedom of finally being out of the hospital and living his best life with his family: riding his bike, playing with his puppy, and exploring his newfound abilities in all things sports!

The MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) and 3 Sheeps Brewing are teaming up to fight childhood cancer and related blood disorders this August! At the culmination of the summer season and leading into September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the MACC Fund crew takes over the 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. Taproom to host an active, family-friendly, sports-themed event on Sunday, August 18th, 2024. The festivities will prove to be an active day for adults and kids of all ages that incorporates sports of all sorts! Attendees will be invited to “Beat the Pro” in their respective sports, enjoy food and beverages for purchase and live music while supporting the MACC Fund and 3 Sheeps Brewing!
