Continuing a Tradition: 25 Years of Supporting Childhood Cancer
For a quarter of a century, the BP MACC Fund Open has been a MACC Fund tradition. Founded by Greg Klimek, in conjunction with several other big names in the fuel distribution industry, the event has given thousands of dollars to childhood and cancer and related blood disorders research. Despite the long-term run of the event, or perhaps because of it, the event continues to draw devoted golfers and supporters of the MACC Fund.
As one of the last golf outings of the summer, the BP MACC Fund Open holds a special place in the MACC Fund’s heart. The beautiful day was filled with golf at the scenic Evergreen Country Club, a silent and live auction, friendly competitions out on the course, and a delicious dinner, while raising money for childhood cancer research! Thank you to everyone who made this day so great: Greg Klimek and the BP MACC Fund Open committee, for putting the event together once again; Evergreen Country Club, for hosting this wonderful day; all of the golfers who came out and donated to such a great cause.
We look forward to seeing everyone next year at the 26th annual BP MACC Fund Open, and for many years after that!
