2006 – MACC Fund’s Pledges $3.5 Million to the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center (UWCCC)

The MACC Fund announced a $3.5 million capital gift to the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center (UWCCC) for the creation of “MACC Fund Childhood Cancer Research Wing”.

The MACC Fund Childhood Cancer Research Wing at the UWCCC will provide full laboratory space for six researchers. This new facility will be integral in changing the way they do research as it allows scientists from across the campus to come together and focus on cancer discoveries to be quickly translated to life-changing pediatric cancer care at the American Family Children’s Hospital.
