In September 2015, Jeffrey A. Medin, PhD, was named MACC Fund Professor in the department of pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Dr. Medin has been a professor in the department of medical biophysics and the institute of medical science, faculty of medicine, at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. He was also a senior scientist with the University Health Network (UHN), and director of the UHN Vector Core Facility at the Krembil Discovery Tower at Toronto Western Hospital.
“The MACC Fund Professor is another great chapter in the Medical College and MACC Fund story. Dr. Medin will bring so much to the College to help ensure that the MACC Fund does all it can to help give every child a fighting chance,” said Jon McGlocklin, president and co-founder of the MACC Fund. “We are excited to welcome him, along with MCW and our friends at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, to our MACC Fund team.”
