Oliver Patch Project
Oliver Patch Project is open to any child in the United States in active treatment for cancer. After their free account is created, the child picks out a jacket or tote and twenty unique artist-designed patches. OPP sews these patches on each garment and mails it to the child’s home. All caregivers will be sent a box of thirteen milestone patches so that they can support and empower their warriors along their cancer journey. All OPP members receive a patch each month for the next year reminding them that they are not alone! “Like knights preparing for battle, our OPP Warriors suit up in their warrior jacket armor…”
Momcology
Provides national platforms for primary caregivers to connect with each other, support one another, seek current and timely information, and begin the healing process through this peer supported community. Momcology was formed to help bridge the gap of isolation and loneliness any parent feels once their child is diagnosed with cancer. Additionally, they offer selfcare gifting, local connecting events, and restorative retreats.
Hope Cam
Started by a parent of a child with cancer, this organization provides a free iPad for children on homebound instruction plus high-speed internet with a link-up to the child’s classroom to help children & teens stay connected with friends and teachers.
Caps for Kids
Provides children/teens with cancer a ball cap autographed by their favorite athlete, actor, singer, or other notable person of their choice.
A Moment of Magic
Families of children battling cancer can request personal visits, virtual calls, group experiences, and more from favorite characters. The organization can also send “Bravery Bags” and care packages to children in treatment. They have partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant memorial trees in a national forest for children who have passed, providing a memento to the family.
Triage Cancer
Provides free educational resources on legal and practical issues that may impact individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers. Their Legal & Finance Navigation Program provides individuals with free one-on-one help in the areas of health insurance, employment, finances, medical decision-making, and more.
Songs of Love
Creates free, personalized, original songs to uplift children and teens currently facing tough medical, physical, or emotional challenges.
Clayton Dabney for Kids with Cancer
Provides anonymous assistance to financially struggling families throughout the country with children in the final stages of terminal cancer, allowing them to create everlasting memories with their child. The family must qualify as low income prior to diagnosis and be referred through a social worker or hospice care facility.
The Magic Yarn Project
Provides character buttery-soft wigs and beanies that invite children into the world of imagination and play during difficult times. All wigs and beanies are always free.
Go 4 the Goal
Provides financial and logistical assistance so you can focus on caring for your child. Forms of assistance include paying hospital bills, wish granting, aid in travelling for treatment, tuition assistance for education, and more. A social worker or child life specialist must reach out to the organization on your behalf.
Pinky Swear Foundation
Offers financial assistance for families of children with cancer to help with rent, mortgages, car payments and repairs, groceries, gas, childcare and more.
Lifeline Pilots
Coordinates free air transportation, through volunteer pilots, for passengers with medical or humanitarian needs far from home.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand
Travel for Care: Offers funding for transportation and lodging for eligible families who are financially burdened by traveling for care.
SuperSibs Comfort & Care Mailing Program: Sends age-appropriate support over two years to children ages 4-18 residing in the U.S. who have experienced the childhood cancer diagnosis of a sibling. All materials are evidence-based and developed by licensed professionals to reassure siblings that they are not alone, validate the complex feelings they may be experiencing, and provide the tools needed to cope and thrive.

Free Sibling Courage Kits, specifically designed comfort items mailed directly to siblings of children with cancer.

Heroes Circle
Provides free virtual martial arts classes to children with cancer and their siblings. “The program teaches meditative breathing, mindfulness and movement, engaging children’s imaginations while teaching them how to work through overwhelming emotions like pain, fear and anger.”
Kids and Art
Their free Amaeyzing ArtKits program is designed specifically for children in active treatment for cancer. For 6 months, they send two art kits per month with pre-recorded video instructions and art supplies. Every project is designed by an artist to inspire relaxation, self-expression, and fun.
Lightz of Hope
Sends children in the hospital a fun LED Bluetooth disco speaker to brighten their day.
Confetti Foundation
Supplies birthday party boxes for kids who will be inpatient during their birthdays. They do partner with hospitals where the child life specialist will already have the boxes (Children’s Wisconsin is listed on their site), but for others you can request a box on their website.

Tutors for Hope:
Free virtual 1-1 tutoring to pediatric cancer patients by undergraduate students at Tufts University. Tutoring is tailored to students’ needs and can include subject tutoring, virtual games, reading, arts and crafts, music activities, and more.
The Princess Program Foundation:
With a mission to “help kids fight with magic”, these Disney princesses travel to children’s hospitals, hospice centers, homes, and even have virtual options for the families they can’t make it to in person.
Good and Glory:
Specializes in purposeful shirts that break the ice for you. Participating families will have a My Story shirt designed in honor of their unique story. Proceeds from the sale of their unique My Story shirt will go straight back to the family. Their hope is that these shirts will help alleviate some of the financial burden the family may be facing as well as serve as a reminder to them that they do not walk alone.
