Over 2,800 Registered and Growing for the 3rd Annual Lucky Leprechaun 7k

Lucky Leprechaun, benefiting the MACC Fund, is pleased to announce current numbers and contributions.

Milwaukee, WI (March 19, 2015) The 3rd Annual Lucky Leprechaun 7K takes place at 10am on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Hart Park, Wauwatosa. Currently, over 2,800 participants are registered for the event, which benefits the MACC Fund. Race day will be a spectacle and full of fun Irish decor and contests. The St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be filled with Irish Dancers, bag piper and great festive photo opportunities with Zippy the Leprechaun and his life size cutout. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their best St. Patty’s costume and rock their best Irish jig at the Start Line. After the race, live Irish music by Tallymoore and three of the areas finest food trucks will be onsite at the post-race party, in front of Leff’s Lucky Town.

Online registrations will be accepted through March 19, 2015 until 11:59 PM at LuckyLeprechaun7K.com. Onsite registration will be available from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM on Friday at Performance Running Outfitters-Brookfield and race morning from 8:30 – 9:45 AM at Hart Park in the tent.

“We are thrilled to be raising money for the cure against childhood cancer.” said President, Jeff Graves. “From the race day festivities to the great Post-Race Party hosted by Leff’s Lucky Town participants will certainly have plenty of fun as they celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Milwaukee Style.” Graves added.
