The MACC Fund Goes Over the Edge
Getting ‘safely out of your comfort zone‘ to fight childhood cancer and blood disorders

Over the Edge provides signature urban rappelling events as fundraisers for non-profits across the globe, raising in excess of $100,000,000 since 2008. On September 1, 2021 their team of experts will come to Milwaukee to conduct a rappelling event down the 10-story, 147-ft tall Wintrust Commercial Bank Building located at 731 N Jackson Street to help the MACC Fund raise money for the fight childhood cancer and blood disorders!
The MACC Fund will kick off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2021 by going Over the EDGE! Safety is, of course, everyone’s top priority. All OTE events have highly trained industrial rope specialists, all of which are IRATA or SPRAT certified. Every OTE site is set up as an industrial work site, with compliance to all OSHA laws and SPRAT governing procedures. Each event site has a comprehensive Site Inspection & Safety Plan completed, and if every potential risk cannot be mitigated, the site will not be deemed suitable for use. On 11/15/19, the Wintrust Building at 731 N. Jackson has passed all safety inspections. To date, there have been over 55,000 unique rappellers who have participated in OTE events and there has been one hospitalization for an allergic reaction to a bee sting!
The 2021 OTE event to benefit the MACC Fund will not only launch Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, but will be raise critical dollars for research as well—which WILL save a child’s LIFE. YOUR generosity WILL make a direct, significant impact in the world of childhood cancer and blood disorders research.
