A Washington County family has turned their front yard into a haunted graveyard to raise money for the MACC Fund.
The McNall family partnered with I.G. Designs, Inc. and Daniel Paul Designs to create the spooky sight.
“We’re remembering kids who can’t be out trick-or-treating this year by helping the MACC Fund help their doctors,” said Jim McNall.
The graveyard is a fully-automated attraction featuring four different shows, each 3-5 minutes long. The shows include more than 60 channels of lighting effects, spotlights, theatrical fixtures, high powered black lights and strobes with multiple audio tracks and HD video projection.
“Kids who might be scared by traditional haunted houses won’t be scared here,” said McNall. “Nothing scary jumps out at you or tries to grab you,” McNall continued, “it’s just a really cool way to celebrate the holiday and give back at the same time.”
The family is taking donations from visitors to donate to the MACC Fund.
The shows are free and donations are not required. “We’re just trying to help, if we can, and we hope other people will feel the same way.”
