Leo’s Journey with Von Willebrand’s Disease

March is bleeding disorders awareness month, a time to raise awareness and understanding. One of the many types of bleeding disorders is VonWillebrand’s disease, a gentic disorder that prevents blood from clotting properly. When he was 5 years old, Leo Miles was diagnosed with this disease, setting his life on a new course that allowed him to receive treatment that could help.
