The 23rd annual Trek 100 Ride for Hope was a tremendous success, with over 2500 riders coming out to the Trek Headquarters in Waterloo to enjoy an absolutely beautiful day and ride for a great cause.

BuzzCuts for Cancer - Whitefish Bay High School

This was the second year for BuzzCuts at Whitefish Bay High School. In 2010, the event raised almost $18,000 for children with cancer and related blood disorders. Kids helping kids!
BuzzCuts for Cancer - Shorewood High School

With Whitefish Bay High School following their lead a few days later, students at Shorewood High School had their heads buzzed to support childhood cancer research and the MACC Fund, and collected donations from family, friends, and local businesses. This was the seventh year for Buzz Cuts at Shorewood, and the event has raised almost $74,000 for MACC.

Yet another successful Sports Auction for MACC, as an Aaron Rodger/Ryan Braun 'Faces of the Franchise' signed picture and Super Bowl 45 signed Packers helmet were the two most highly coveted items, each fetching more than $3500.

A few lucky fans gathered with Packers Mason Crosby and Aaron Rodgers at the Tundra Lodge Resort and Conference Center in Green Bay to get autographs, take pictures, and take part in the 2nd annual 'Pack Lunch with Aaron Rodgers' to benefit MACC.

The I Back Jack Foundation, Inc. made a "bunch of noise" for pediatric cancer research when it gathered the largest number of people ever to play Bananagrams at Arrowhead High School. The ultimate goal of the event was to fund new, innovative treatments aimed at helping kids with pediatric cancer keep winning at the game of life.
Christopher's Shoot Against Childhood Cancer

Seven-year-old Christopher, battling medulloblastoma?, took aim at childhood cancer with the help of family, friends and MACC Fund supporters. It was an amazing day at the Waukesha Gun Club, where money for childhood cancer research was raised through events like sporting clay, bird trap, and bird flurry. Other games and raffles rounded out this amazing event.

Over 30 students turned out at Shorewood High School to have their heads shaved as part of "Buzzing for a Cure". Special guest Beth Christiansen, whose son, Michael, is battling cancer, bravely buzzed her head as well for the event, which raised over $16,000!

Noah - Putting the Freeze on Cancer

Ever since Noah was a little kid, he excelled at everything. He loved playing piano, soccer, and was very artistic. By age six, he had won a scholarship for piano. He played soccer on the weekends and never missed school. But in September 2007, Noah was diagnosed with leukemia.

Born June 19, 2003 in Austin, Texas, Emilie has always had a happy, smiley disposition. She is very energetic and curious-full of life. So it was obvious that something wasn't quite right around Easter 2008.

Hollyn was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumor when she was five years old. She underwent major surgery to remove her kidney with the tumor inside. Today, Hollyn has kicked cancer and helps her tae kwon do school run an annual fundraiser for the MACC Fund.

MACC Fund Pledges $5 Million to Children's Hospital

The MACC Fund has pledged a gift of $5 million over the next six years to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin to support the outpatient cancer clinic and translational research. To honor the gift, the clinic will be renamed the MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

2009 Lake Country Charity Invitational & Erin Hills

The LCCI was held April 25th at Brown Deer Golf Course since its home, Erin Hills, was having work done to it. On July 13th, PGA pro and MACC supporter Mark Wilson played Erin Hills with the golf teams from Mukwonago High School and Whitnall High School. Each had won a drawing of teams which were the top fund-raisers for the event. The MACC Fund would like to thank Erin Hills’ generous owner, Bob Lang,who provided the beautiful championship setting for a memorable round of golf.
